Emergent Leadership Lab is an innovative group-coaching program designed for forward-thinking leaders ready to embrace change and drive transformation within their organizations.
Over the course of three months, you’ll join a select cohort of peers in a co-created experience where you’ll practice real-time leadership techniques, uncover personal roadblocks, and develop the skills needed to navigate today’s complex and ever-evolving landscapes.
Guided by Ashley Mudd, a professional facilitator, this lab offers a unique blend of adaptive leadership and emergent strategy, empowering you to become a nimble, values-aligned, and impactful leader.

The Cohort Experience
Six 90-Minute Sessions: Engage in deep, interactive sessions every two weeks, designed to challenge and support your growth.
Curated Resources & Assignments: Receive topical resources and personal work assignments to deepen your understanding and application of the concepts between sessions.
Asynchronous Communication: Stay connected with your cohort through a private communication channel, allowing for ongoing support and collaboration.
Pre-Program Connection: Start your journey with a pre-call with Ashley to establish connections and begin crafting your personal goals for the program.
Optional Check-In Coaching: Benefit from optional individual coaching calls with Ashley throughout the program to support your progress and address any specific challenges.
Professional Facilitation: Benefit from the guidance of an experienced facilitator who will ensure each session is productive and focused.
Co-Created Learning: Participate in shaping the direction of the program, ensuring it meets the unique needs of the group.

Logistics & Investment
Program Investment: $1,250 per person
Dates: The program will kick-off in December 2024 and meet bi-weekly. Exact dates will be finalized with cohort participants after registration.
Time Commitment: Participants are expected to attend every 90-minute session, held bi-weekly. Additionally, they should invest 1–2 hours each week in personal reflection and preparation. Since this is a coaching experience, the time spent outside of live sessions is just as important as the time we spend together.

Sessions are experiential and participatory! After setting the stage and co-creating our group norms in the first session, future sessions will mix discussion, reflection, and interaction.
We’ll use both small breakouts and full group collaboration to explore key insights and takeaways. Between sessions, you’ll be invited to engage in learning and field work to deepen your understanding and progress toward your goals.

Cohort curation is key to fostering psychological safety and diversity of experience. We carefully review applications to create a group that encourages strong connections and a safe learning environment. To maintain this, we avoid placing people from the same organization in the same cohort.

Absolutely! Leadership is an activity, not a position. It’s about mobilizing change, and everyone—regardless of their role or authority—can exercise leadership. This program is for anyone ready to challenge traditional assumptions and lead change, whether or not you hold a formal leadership title.

The program includes six 90-minute sessions over three months. We ask that you commit to being fully present at each session. Additionally, participants should dedicate time each week for learning, field work, and reflection between sessions to maximize the program’s benefits.

You’ll leave with actionable strategies tailored to your leadership journey and a network of peers for continued support. There may also be opportunities for ongoing engagement with your cohort, and you might consider continuing with a 1:1 coaching package.
